Misty Copeland is a ballet dancer with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT), one of the three leading classical ballet companies in the United States. On June 30, 2015, she became the first African American woman to be promoted to the position of principal dancer in ABT's 75-year history. In 2015, she was also named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world and appeared on its cover.
Copeland held the title of principal dancer with ABT from 2015 to 2025.
In 2016, Copeland entered her Second Pinnacle on 30/3. Her Second Pinnacle ended in 2024, and she retired from ABT in October 2025, concluding her career with a gala farewell performance; her Personal Year 1, and the start of her Third Pinnacle 49/13. Typically, the energy associated with a new Pinnacle cycle begins to emerge at least three years prior.
Born on September 10, 1982, her birthday on the 10th foretold 2025 and 2026 as changeable years for her, perhaps even a crisis, as she is determined to do whatever is necessary to secure her independence, devote herself to her creative talent, and protect her creative self-expression.
You will be amazed at how closely everyone follows the journey of the Personal Years and Pinnacles, whether they realize it or not.
